Landkreis eine Kunstsammlung auf, die derzeit
rund 900 Kunstwerke umfasst. Mit der Kunst-
sammlung verfolgt der Landkreis zwei Ziele: die
Dokumentation des künstlerischen Schaffens in
der ­Region und die Förderung der Künstler durch
Ankäufe.
Kultur im Landkreis Reutlingen
Kultur ist ein wichtiger Standortfaktor. Deshalb
unterstützen Städte und Gemeinden sowie der
Landkreis das Kulturleben.
Der Landkreis fördert beispielsweise das The-
ater und die Musikpflege, engagiert sich auf
dem Gebiet der Denkmalpflege vor allem für
den Erhalt von Burgen und bei der Erfassung
